These series detectors (Deko-5310 and Deko-5350) provide control of banknotes in UV light, in white reflected light (control of printing manner, micro printing, detection of printing defects and possible erasures) and white passing light (detection of water marks, protective fibers and stripes, combined code pictures and marks). Also these detectors checks banknotes by the size using millimeter scale, Deko-5350 offers magnetic control.
Also device provides the possibility of detection of “idle UV lamp” – when the UV lamp has stopped working, faltering sound signal appears which means that the lamp has to be replaced with the valid one. Devices have finger-tip control of operating modes.
